Dunamis works in partnership with Akeem's Alchemy- a local production company that centers artists and champions queer, magic filled stories penned by and starring people of color.

Our first project: "My Blood The Ink" is an award-winning full cast audio drama featuring over a dozen local artists, half of which are Dunamis staff, board members, and alumni! The complete first season is available wherever you podcast.

About Akeem's Alchemy
Akeem's Alchemy is a production company that works with local creative entrepreneurs to:
1. Provide black and brown creatives a safe, equitable, artist-centered space to create high-level artistic work.
2. Tell stories that spark individuals to make changes in their communities.
3. Continue to invest in the local creative economy and retain creative talent in Boston.
4. Tell magical stories that feature queer characters of color, thus allowing for new stories into the fantasy and science fiction lexicon.
Narratively, and in practice, Akeem's Alchemy works to disrupt outdated, inequitable models of work and encourage us to move through the world with more empathy, joy, and interconnectedness.
We create stories that center black and brown characters, are queer, joyful, full of love and dipped in magic and use them to transform you.
Through the art we produce, we imagine a better world. Through you, we make that world a reality.
